 MAINTAINING SEXUAL HOLINESS

a. Knowing the Temptation 

    2 Timothy 2: 21-22. Stay away from the lust of young people (free also youthful lust). Free from the Greek word Pheugo, which means run away - run away (cf. Joseph's story: Genesis 39:12).

b. Stay Alert

    Several instances in the Bible where a person is caught in a sexual act because of unawareness (cf. Dinah (Gen. 34: 1-29); Tamar (2 Samuel 13: 1-19).

c. Master Yourself

    Sex is Powerful. Strength and sexual passion are like wild animals that are fierce, so they must have the strength to control them (Galatians 5: 22-23).

d. Be aware of the meaning of sex and the consequences of distortion

    Sexuality as a means to glorify God, but also can embarrass God if it is not used according to God's will.

BAD IMPACT OF BAD SEXUALITY 

a. Physical Impact

    Sex before marriage can cause a person to contract various dangerous diseases such as HIV-AIDS.

b. Psychological Impact

    Shame, anxiety, worry, fear, hatred, feelings, worthlessness, etc.

c. Social Impact

    Dropping out of school / college, losing work, early marriage, neglected children, poverty, murder.

d. Spiritual Impact

    Eternal Death (1 Corinthians: 6-9b-10).

THE IMPACT OF SEXUAL HOLINESS IN WEDDING

a. Strengthens trust.

    If we can maintain holiness during dating, then our trust will be strengthened. Something that should not be taken, not taken; as a result our trust will grow even more

b. Strengthens respect.

    Not only does premarital sex erode respect for partners. Sex before marriage also reduces self-respect.

c. Strengthens love.

    In marriage, the impact of sex is to unite, but before marriage the effect of sex was to dominate.
